OBD-Devices

OBD is the abbrevation for On Board Diagnostics, this is a diagnosis system, which is integrated in modern vehicles. OBD-2, OBD2 or OBD-II is the name of the next step in development. Due to the standardization it is possible for the first time to use an uniform diagnosis system to handle nearly all vehicles world wide.

OBD-VarioProColor

The VarioPro is an universal converter for the most important signals and standard bus-systems in vehicles. The compact device with integrated color display and SD-card memory has access to the OBD-sensor data and convert them into analog signals, digital pulse sequences or into CAN messages. The common diagnosis protocols like K-Line and diagnosis CAN or FMS for trucks are supported. A special package for hybrid vehicles, additional CAN and analog inputs, an integrated acceleration sensor and an inbuild GPS reveiver completes the wide range of facilities in the whole automotive area.

Costly start-up works and risky accesses to the vehicle-CAN in addition with errornous memory entries, belong to the past! The suitable mode of operation, or the desired OBD sensor value will be comfortably selected in the VarioPRO, you can relay the data b.e. to four available source sockets for analog output. With the standardized OBD2 socket, mearsurements in foreign vehicles can be easily done. A DBC-file is not necessary. With minimum start-up effort measuring values are immediately available!

OBD-CANID Converter

The system OBD/CANID connects two different BUS technologies and closes a gap in the more and more luxurious vehicle measuring technology. With this comfortable tool the sensor values of OBD can be measured in all current vehicle models and can be transfered by CAN bus. The configuration software on a PC allows to select different OBD sensor values and define the individual CAN identifiers. Optional you can integrate an additional GPS receiver.

GPS-CANID Speed Meter

Meanwhile the correlation of measuring data with the street routing, belongs to the standard in the mobile data acquisition technology. With an output rate of 10 Hz the system offers an sufficient distance resolution. The speed signal is available at BNC sockets as a proportional analog signal with a sensitivity of 10 mV/Km/h, or as a pulse signal with TTL level. All other information decoded in the GPS receiver can be tapped at the CAN output.
